Connected Hearts: A Community for Women Ready to Make Midlife More Fun, More Fulfilling, and Fully Their Own

Genuine connection, personal growth, and shared joy – experienced through thoughtfully guided gatherings and ongoing connection throughout the month.

What is Connected Hearts?

Connected Hearts is a community created for genuine connection, personal growth, and shared joy.

At the heart of Connected Hearts are our guided gatherings – experiences that bring women together in a way that feels easy, engaging, and enjoyable. What makes this community special is that the connection doesn’t end when the gathering does.

Through continued touchpoints and ongoing connection throughout the month, Connected Hearts becomes something you’re part of, not just something you attend.

Everything is thoughtfully structured so you don’t have to wonder what to say or how to fit in.

You simply show up – and step into something that feels welcoming, safe, and inclusive.

No politics. No religion. Phones away.
Just presence – and space to be real.

We believe midlife isn’t a time to decline – it’s a time of possibility.

A chance to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have taken a back seat over the years, stretch yourself, try new things, and create a life that feels good on the inside, not just one that looks good from the outside.

We believe that becoming a better friend to yourself is the foundation for happiness, and each month, we explore simple ways to live that truth.

This is a space where women support, encourage, and celebrate one another – and leave feeling lighter, more energized, and more like themselves.

Together, we’re shaping a midlife (and beyond) that feels expansive, vibrant, and fully our own – through a shared journey of growth, connection, and friendship.

The Midlife Friendship Problem Nobody Talks About

Making friends as an adult is hard.

It’s not that the right women aren’t out there – they are. But somewhere between “we should get together” and actually getting together, life gets in the way. Nobody follows through. The moment fades. And slowly, without anyone meaning for it to happen, the loneliness settles in.

Most social groups don’t solve this. Book clubs lose momentum. Networking groups feel transactional. Free groups are full of good intentions and inconsistent attendance – because when there’s no real commitment, showing up stays optional. And sometimes, without the right structure and facilitation, the drama you specifically want to avoid follows you right into your social life.

What most of us are really missing isn’t more invitations to things. It’s someone who does the work of bringing us together – consistently, intentionally, and in a way that makes real friendship not just possible, but inevitable.

That’s what Connected Hearts is.

It’s a guided personal growth experience that creates the conditions for genuine friendship to form naturally as a result.

It’s where you rediscover your spark, feel inspired again, and remember that this chapter of life is still alive with possibility. And where the friendships you’ve been hoping for finally have room to grow.

Who It’s For

Connected Hearts is for women who are:

  • Open, kind, and curious about what this next chapter of life can hold.

  • Craving connection that goes beyond surface-level conversation.

  • Drawn to experiences that feel grounding, nourishing, and fun.

  • Interested in personal growth that feels relatable – not “self-helpy.”

  • Ready to prioritize themselves again – without feeling guilty about it.

In short:

Women who want midlife to feel expansive, joyful, and unmistakably Funderful.

What Happens at a Gathering (so you know what to expect)

Our gatherings are the heartbeat of Connected Hearts, and while each has its own theme, the experience follows a flow designed to help you relax and fully enjoy the evening:

  • A Warm Welcome: Gentle openings that make it easy to arrive, settle in, and feel at ease.

  • A Centering Reset: A brief centering moment to help you leave the day behind and become fully present.

  • An Inspiring Main Experience: A guided experience led by life coach and Funderful Experiences founder, Cheryl Dillon, where a real midlife challenge is explored through fresh perspective and thought-provoking questions – helping you see it differently, shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and make new choices that feel aligned with what matters most to you – followed by an engaging group conversation.

  • A Moment of Shared Joy: A playful element that brings everyone together through laughter and lightness.

  • A Grounding Close: A heartfelt ending that leaves you feeling uplifted and renewed.

Our consistent flow is the canvas; the changing monthly themes are the art. You always leave with something valuable – a new outlook, a practical takeaway, or simply feeling more clear, confident, and like yourself again.

What Women are Saying

The evenings are so thoughtfully run, and it’s easy to dive into open, honest conversation. I love being in community with these women and look forward to our many meetups each month.

Connected Hearts has reinforced for me that there is a community of healing support, friendship, and laughter out there if you open yourself up to it.

Common Questions

Why is Connected Hearts a paid membership?2026-03-23T14:59:46-07:00

Connected Hearts isn’t a drop-in social group. It’s a thoughtfully guided personal growth experience that opens the door to genuine friendship as a natural result – and it’s designed to support you throughout the entire month, not just one evening.

Your membership includes monthly in-person gatherings facilitated by certified life coach Cheryl Dillon, mid-month virtual Connection Calls to keep the momentum going, and Unplugged social meetups simply for the joy of being together. Every element is intentionally designed and personally led by Cheryl – because real connection and meaningful growth don’t happen by accident.

The membership fee also does something else important: it ensures that every woman in the room has made a real commitment to be there. That shared investment changes the dynamic entirely – and it’s a big part of why the friendships and growth that happen here feel so different from anything you’ve experienced in a free group.

You’re not paying to make friends. You’re investing in becoming a better friend to yourself – and the friendships that form here are a beautiful, natural result of that.

Why is Connected Hearts a membership instead of drop-in events?2026-03-18T16:01:41-07:00

Connected Hearts is designed to create real connection – and that happens through consistency. When the same group of women gathers over time, conversations go deeper, it feels easier to be yourself, and relationships naturally grow. Membership allows each experience to build on the last – so you’re not starting over every time.

How is Connected Hearts different from a free social group?2026-03-22T12:14:30-07:00

Free groups are built on good intentions, but without real commitment, attendance becomes inconsistent and the dynamic can drift – sometimes into the kind of drama you were hoping to leave behind. Connected Hearts is a curated, facilitated community where everyone has made a real commitment to be there. That shared investment changes everything – and it’s a big part of why the friendships that form here feel so different.

There’s also nothing to organize, host, or coordinate. Cheryl handles everything – the structure, the facilitation, the experience itself. You simply show up and enjoy the evening.

And what happens in that evening goes well beyond socializing. Each gathering is thoughtfully guided by Cheryl, whose background in psychology and coaching creates experiences where real conversation unfolds naturally, fresh perspective emerges, and you leave feeling genuinely inspired – not just like you spent “a nice night out.” That combination of connection, substance, and joy is something a casual social group simply isn’t designed to deliver.

What if I show up and feel awkward or like I don’t belong?2026-03-18T16:08:00-07:00

Many women attend their first gathering without knowing anyone in the room. That’s why Connected Hearts gatherings are intentionally facilitated rather than left to chance.

Through thoughtfully designed activities and guided conversations, the evening unfolds in a way that naturally helps everyone feel included and comfortable participating at their own pace. You’re never put on the spot, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.

Most women tell us the same thing afterward: they arrived a little unsure… and immediately felt at ease.

Who is this NOT right for?2026-03-18T16:06:41-07:00

To maintain our focus on genuine connection and personal well-being, Connected Hearts may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:

  • Business Networking: While we celebrate each other’s successes, our primary goal is heart-centered connection. If your main objective is to pitch a product or build a lead list, this isn’t the space for you.
  • Surface-Level Only: Connected Hearts is designed for those who want to move past small talk. It may not be a fit if you aren’t comfortable exploring fresh perspectives or engaging in conversations with a bit more depth.
  • Divisive Topics: To ensure our space remains a sanctuary of peace and positivity, we do not discuss politics or other polarizing subjects. We are here to focus on what connects us, not what divides us.
